Ghana Towns: Takoradi

 During WWII and for a long time hence, Takoradi was the most famous town in Britain's settlement of the Gold Coast. It was solely during the 1950s, zeroing in on independence, that people in the UK began to hear more about the capital, of the new region of Ghana, Accra.
